Congratulations to one of my favorite blogger Mikki Galang! for another successful workshop.
I know this is late but still I want to express how I enjoyed the workshop. She was spontaneous, her workshop was very interactive you wouldn't be shy to ask questions and clarification in fact she encourage us to ask questions.
So as an eyebrow and eye-shadow lover that I'am, I asked allot of questions about; mixing colors of eye-shadow, how to choose my eye-shadow pallets etc.
She showed 4 techniques in applying eye-shadow from everyday "wala lang.. ganda ko lang!" :) mood
to "kabogera! party tayo hanggang umaga!!!" mood. :)
As if she was waving a wand with the eye-shadow brush.. a little product here.. blend blend there.. voila!
It's a given that eye-shadows should enhance the eyes, but am still amaze how chinita eye's (very common to us filipinas..) open up after she puts the eye-shadow and I've noticed that, the models are like getting an instant eye lift.

My favorite part was when I asked her:
"Pag kasi nag a-apply ako ng eye-shadow there are times na parang droopy ang eyes ko..."
I believe I asked this question once or twice, with other beauty guru's.
It's not that they we're not able to help me, they were able to give me tips and techniques to help me achieve certain look that I wanted.
However there are times, specially when I'm on a hurry, I still end up with a droopy eyes...
her answer was simple; it's because of the way I apply the eye-shadow.. it was very basic but it actually make sense to me now.
She told us to apply the eye-shadow inwards rather than outwards cause doing so will pull the eye's down

..that's it, you know how bad habits die hard right? so even though I know how to achieved a certain look.. when am on lazy sally mode or really on a hurry my hand's tend to act automatically because I didn't know that doing so will give me that droopy eyes again.
Now I know! :)
That's what I love about her workshops it's just like talking to a friend, her answers are simple but you will understand the logic of why and how it is.
I hope to attend more of her workshops.
